Audit Protection Program
If you opt-in to offer audit protection, there are two types of programs that you can enroll in. Please select one and complete any additional fields.

Firm-Level:

Provide audit protection at a discounted rate of $10.00 per individual return when you agree to provide the service to every return submit. This fee will be billed to you directly for every individual tax return e-filed for the tax year. Paper filed returns can be included by contact Protection Plus directly. There is no line item that will display for Protection Plus when using this program, but a copy of the member agreement will print with each completed return. NOTE: You can now choose to add audit protection to every business return completed for $75.00 per return.

 

Per-Return:

Provide audit protection at no cost to you and no minimum number of filings. This program can be offered to your clients for as little as $59.95 per return with an ability to add up to $65.00 as an add on fee paid out to you (max total of $124.95). This is offered on a client-by-client basis, and the fee is billed to the taxpayer. For bank product returns, the fee may be deducted from the refund and disbursed by the banking partner. For returns without a bank product, any fee charged to your client should be collected with your tax prep fee, and you will remit the $59.95 to Protection Plus. NOTE: This is the updated fee structure for tax year 2023. Please contact support for tax year 2022 pricing.
